Central nervous system (CNS) involvement in Hodgkin’s lymphoma (HL) is extremely rare (less than 0.5% of HL cases in contrast to 5-30% involvement in non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma). Mostly CNS involvement in Hodgkin’s lymphoma is supratentorial, with cerebral cortex and leptomeninges as the most frequently involved areas. CNS involvement can worsen the clinical outcome. We here present a case of Hodgkin’s lymphoma with long-term survival that developed cerebellar (infratentorial) metastasis during the course of disease and achieved complete response to the treatment. |
